Shattered Silence: Breakthrough Resilency - Open Mic Night

Come share your story, your voice, your truth. We invite spoken word poetry, performances, and testimonials offering a creative outlet for young adults to express themselves through various art forms. Whether you're performing or just listening, this event aims to break down stigma and create a connection through shared experience. Spoken word, poetry, song, and lived experience related to mental health awareness and overcoming are all welcome.

GOALS:

● Raise awareness,

● Foster a safe, stigma-free space where young adults can share without

judgment.

● Promote emotional resilience by normalizing vulnerability and shared struggle.

● Connect attendees with mental health resources and services that support ongoing

wellness.

● Provide information and access to local therapists, counselors, and support

organizations.

Is this an all-ages event?
Yes! This event is open to all ages, but those 16 & under will need a legal guardian present. Also, everyone, including kids, is required to have a ticket.

Will food be available?

Absolutely! For free food, registration is required

What should I expect at the event?
The event opens with resource vendors to connect, network & shop. Music, performances, and testimonials throughout the night. There will also be raffles and giveaways.

Is this event faith-based affiliated?
Yes, but this event is open to the entire community that is looking for positive and wholesome atmosphere.
