Students will explore the life and artwork of American painter Georgia O’Keeffe. Students will explore drawing and painting her beloved subject matters – shells, bones, and flowers.All supplies included.
The instructor has taught art in public schools in grades K-12 for 30 years and also teaches workshops for adults. She currently teaches drawing and painting courses for high school-aged students. Her artwork is based on flowers and nature-based subject matter. She works mostly in watercolor, but also enjoys creating with acrylics, oils, pen and ink, colored pencils, and soft chalk pastels.
