Join us for our 4th annual "Sunset Lake in Lights" event.
On July 26th, Decorate your house, yard, dock, and/or boat choosing your own theme (patriotic, Halloween, Christmas, tiki torches, etc.) to light up the lake. Let's really see that creativity of the Sunset Lake Community and give a great show for our paddlers, boaters, and everyone around the lake!
Even if you don't participate in decorating we hope that you will get your fire pit going or join our group paddle around the lake to view the decorations!
IF YOU PLAN TO PADDLE, PLEASE BE SURE TO HAVE A LIGHT AND LIFE PRESERVER PER NH LAW, ESPECIALLY SINCE THERE WILL BE MORE BOAT TRAFFIC DURING THIS EVENT; SEE DETAILS BELOW.
Our rain/wind date will be Friday, July 25th.

Fire Pit and Lighted House/Yard Details:
--------------------------------------------
Let's see all of your creativity in lighting up your house, yard, dock, and/or boat. Even if you decide not to decorate, we want to see your fire pit, campfire, and/or chimenea going so we light up the whole shoreline!
Sundown is at 8:12 pm so get everything lit up by 8:00 and consider starting your fire by 7:30 pm.
If you don't yet have a 2025 fire permit, please contact the fire department at 603-329-6006 at least a couple of days before the event to get your free permit for having a "campfire" or "cooking fire". On the day of the event, you must call the fire department to indicate that you will have a fire that day and they will usually ask for your address and permit#. All participants should also follow all town burn rules and the regulations:
