A stand-up comedy by Kumar
The stand-up comedy act revolves around the day-to-day lives of laborers and the violence they experience. Through comedy the artist attempts to trace stories of identities masculinity patriarchy caste & class food and many other forms of prejudice that shape the daily lives of workers.
Vikas has been performing this set for over two years taking the stage at various platforms and open mics comedy clubs cultural festivals including performances for laborers at worksites in Bengaluru. Coming from a laborer background he has worked on issues related to informal labor for many years. He is passionate about creating content that highlights laborers' concerns including through comedy.
