Founded in 2019, the band was born from a shared passion for Latin music among musicians who united their talents and cultural roots to create a project that celebrates Cumbia and brings it to new generations.
Every performance by A Cara o Cruz Band is a celebration of life, love, and Latin identity, aiming not only to entertain but also to strengthen the community bond through the power of music.

DJ LADYX:
Latin Female DJ specializing in Latin, classic hiphop, with experience in various genres such as the art of Scratch, Top40, Hiphop, Raggaeton, and funk.
DJ LadyX first spun her way onto the Portland music scene in 2013. In that time, she has established a reputation as Lady DJ, Queen of Portland HipHop. From holding down local HipHop artist, to Nationally Known artist, and traveling up and down the West Coast DJing events and Private Parties, making people dance with her brilliant track selection and the element of scratch. DJ LadyX has come a long way since her very first scratch session. She has recently been seen at the Blazer games & the infamous NAMM Show in California!
