Do you like taking and editing photos? Never tried it and want to try? The World I Imagine Project is just for YOU! Youth will take a photo and edit that same photo. This year's theme is Agriculture so use anything to do with Agriculture and you are good.
-There should be 2 photos. 1. The original photo the youth took. 2. The Edited photo.
-Edited photo must be 5x7 or larger, mount the photo on an 8.5"x11" sheet of white paper or you can print the photo out on plain copy paper ensuring it is 5x7 or larger. The original image can be any size and can be on the back side of the edited image, but the edited image must at least be 5x7 or larger.
-Entries are due to your teacher/school 4-H sponsor by October 31st, you can drop them by the Marion County Extension Office, OR you can email your entry to
cmdkMDAwNyB8IGFjZXMgISBlZHU= making sure you provide your First/Last Name, School, and Grade in the body of the email.
-First and Last Name, Grade, and school should be on the back of any printed entries and if emailed that information should be included in the body of the email.
If youth win 1st place at their school we will enter them into the county competition. If they win 1st place in the county competition we will invite them to the in person Regional Congress Competition against 1st place winners from Lauderdale, Colbert, Limestone, Franklin, Lawrence, Morgan, Marion, Winston, Walker, Fayette and Lamar Counties in May 2026. **There will be no County Round-Up for 2026. If Junior and Intermediate level students win these county contests they can advance to Regional Congress in May 2026 and Intermediate-Senior II level students can advance to the State Competitive Events Day Competition June 26, 2026 in Columbiana, AL.
Levels of Competition:
Junior Level I: 9 to 11 years old on December 31 of the current calendar year (compete only at local and regional levels).
Intermediate: 12 to 13 years old on December 31 of the current calendar year (compete only at local and regional levels).
Senior Level I: 14 to 15 years old on December 31 of the current calendar year.
Senior Level II: 16 to 18 years old on December 31 of the current calendar year.
