Beginners' Salsa Dance Class

Have you got the Monday morning blues?
Are you looking for a fun way to get fit?
Do you find going to the gym challenging?
Why not try a Salsa dance class?
No dance experience or partner is needed.
Start when you like. Come when life allows.
Class times: 11:30 AM to 12:30 AM, Mondays.
Starts 19th May - July 2025
No class on King's birthday weekend.
Venue: St James Church, 82 Nixon Street, Hamilton East.
Parking: On-street parking only.
Cost: $10 per person, per class.
Cash or Bank transfer accepted on the day of attendance.
What to expect:
A 1hr fun class of basic Salsa steps learnt to a count, and danced with music. Each class will start with a warm-up and revision of basic steps and Salsa timing.
A short pattern of steps will then be taught and practiced to music.
What to wear/bring:
Please wear comfy clothing you can move easily in and bring a warm layer for after class. Please no black-soled street shoes, grippy shoes, boots, wedges, or stilettoes.
Don't forget your water bottle.
