Fighting games are something so great - no truer words were ever spoken. We carry that spirit forward at HAMBATS; Hamilton's best fighting game event that has been going for over 10 years.
Hamilton Ranking Battles, or Hambats, is a long running monthly fighting game event where players of all skill levels come together to play, compete, learn, and socialise. Come through and have a go at our tournament brackets, or simply have a jam - all you need is $10, a controller, and a positive attitude.

Street Fighter 6
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Rivals of Aether II
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves (Starting May)
And many more - if there's something you wanna play, let us know and we'll play it!
Pricing: $10 for competitors - this covers venue fees and adds to our community account so we can afford more resources. Also includes casual play all day.
$5 for casual play - not entering the tournament bracket? Pay 5 bucks and you can play all day.
Spectators get in FREE.
Bring along a console (PS5, Switch) and / or monitor and get FREE ENTRY.
Schedule:
10AM - Doors will open and casual play begins. Come help set up and then warm up!
2PM - Tournaments will begin. SF6, T8, Smash, Rivals.
8PM - Doors will close for the day.
