Arbor Day at Minogue Park

We invite schools, corporate groups and the community of Kirikiriroa to join us for the 21st year of Arbor Day planting in Kirikiriroa 🌱

🕙 10am - 1.30pm

This year we have an exciting new location at Minogue Park. We’re aiming to plant 15,000 native trees and can't do this alone – we need as many nature-loving volunteers as possible to help!

The event kicks off at 10am with introductions/openings and health and safety briefing. We will then plant trees for around 1.5-2 hours.

During the lunchbreak from 12pm-1pm enjoy educational stands from our very own kids in nature programme. Learn about introduced predators, see real life bees and learn about Aotearoa's native lizards.

We will run tours at the end of the day around the lake and surrounding bush for those that prebook them.
