Summer Pruning Training & Workbee

The Community Orchard requires ongoing care, so we’re hosting a series of workbees throughout August. You’re invited to attend one or all—it’s a great chance to learn about fruit tree maintenance and connect with fellow volunteers.

On August 7, 2025 from 9am–12pm, we are hosting a Summer Pruning Training & Workbee

Matt Soltys will lead a summer pruning workshop for farm and land staff, and for as many volunteers as we can gather. We’re also inviting past orchard volunteers to join in. This session will be open to the public, with the hope of recruiting new volunteers for ongoing orchard care into the fall.
