About the event

Mulching and Planting in the Community Orchard

The Community Orchard requires ongoing care, so we’re hosting a series of workbees throughout August. You’re invited to attend one or all—it’s a great chance to learn about fruit tree maintenance and connect with fellow volunteers.

On August 12, 2025 from 9am–12pm we will be Mulching and Planting in the Community Orchard

Let’s build on the August 5th clean-up and spread mulch around the fruit trees. We’ll also be planting perennial herbs that make excellent companion plants in the orchard. Meet at the Farm Workshop.
