Diabetes Education Support Group

📍 Education Room, Grundy County Memorial Hospital (Park on west side, use Entrance 3 – Emergency Dept.)

Join our Dietitians for a free session on heart health and the impacts of heart disease. Attendees will learn why heart health matters when they are at risk for or have diabetes, how to keep their heart healthy, what cholesterol and other numbers mean and how to get them in target range, and how to make food choices that will improve the health of their heart. Get practical tips, enjoy a light snack, and help pick next quarter’s topic!

Open to anyone managing diabetes, caring for someone with diabetes, or who’s completed the Diabetes Prevention Program.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is requested.
