Drop-In Workshop: Mixed Media Marbling

Let's marble some beads, some fabric, some stationery, some bookmarks, and more!

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to properly dip paper, leather, wood, and fabric into a water-based marbling bath in order to perfectly transfer colorful patterns. We'll also discuss uses for the results beyond the workshop. So many projects can be made with your marbled pieces.

This class is perfect for anyone who sometimes feels intimidated by arts and crafts. Because the process is very free-flowing, everyone will have some successful results!

Sunday July 6th

DROP-IN anytime between 12pm and 3pm

This drop-in project does not have a specific start and stop time. Just drop-in anytime during the workshop. Please note that most folks will need 15-30 minutes to complete this project so please plan accordingly.

Entry Level Class—No experience necessary

All ages are welcome but note that all youngsters must be accompanied by an adult.





About the Instructor:

Clare Fox is a Detroit-based visual artist, instructor, and curator. Her academic and professional background is in Printmaking, though her studio practice also includes experimental photography, sculpture, and woodworking. Clare is the creative director and a co-founder of Mutual Adoration and POST.
