Chris Golden’s previous appearance left a lasting impression on the community—one attendee remarked, “It was more than a concert, it was a worship experience.” Now, he returns to Gregory with more heartfelt stories, powerful music, and a message that resonates. “I am looking forward to coming back to Gregory to sing my story, to visit with old friends, and to make a few new ones,” said Golden.
A lifelong musician, Chris Golden has carved out a remarkable career across country and gospel music. His journey includes touring with legends like Alabama, Restless Heart, and a 17-year tenure with The Oak Ridge Boys. He’s performed on world-class stages such as the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, Dollywood, and national platforms like TBN and Huckabee.
Golden’s solo career continues to thrive with albums like Sunday Shoes, Shoebox, and Grateful—the latter producing six #1 songs. Billboard Magazine once said, “For some people, making music comes as naturally as breathing. Chris Golden is one of those gifted souls.”
He was named ICMA’s Entertainer of the Year (2019), Instrumentalist of the Year (2020), and Producer of the Year. His latest single, “Peacemaker”, a duet with Delnora, is currently climbing the charts, and his upcoming album, A Better Man, promises more of the heartfelt and meaningful music that fans have come to love.
