National Trails Day 2025

Come celebrate the beauty and importance of our trails with National Trails Day! On Saturday, June 7 from 9 am to 1 pm we will have free trail-related activities for all ages including:
Guided hikes
Mountain bike rides
Paddling demos
Geocaching
Adaptive bike demos
Live music in partnership with NC Folk Festival
Children's activities
VF professional sponsored athletes
Group trail runs
Discounted pedal boat rentals
Discounted FLYWAY zipline tickets
Prizes
Food trucks
and more!
More than 30 community partners will be on-site offering information, giveaways, and activity stations related to birding, trail maintenance, orienteering, footwear, and more. Stay tuned for a more details about scheduled activity times througout the event!
