Tool School 101 - Fix a flat tire and basic bike maintenance

Pete’s Garage is offering FREE flat repair/basic bike maintenance classes for everyone looking to keep his or her bike rolling smoothly this year! The class will focus on simple flat repair, changing a tire/tube and wheel removal (front and rear). Other topics will be covered as time permits. We’ll also have a Q & A to get many of your technical questions answered.

These classes are a fun way to better understand your bicycle, how it works and what to do if you flat during a ride. Plus, all students will receive 20% off in-stock pumps, tires and tubes the night of the event!

Tool School 101 classes are targeted toward beginners, casual riders and weekend warriors. We’ll focus on bikes with standard components. Quick release/thru axle wheels will be covered - not bolt on.

All students are encouraged to bring in a wheel from their bikes to better learn flat repair in a real-world environment. Some tire levers will be available, but best to bring your own flat kit if you can.
