Ribbon Cutting for Wonderscope's Pollination Station Exhibit

We are excited to announce the opening of the Green Pest Solutions Pollination Station at Wonderscope. This new exhibit was created to help children develop an appreciation for beneficial insects. This interactive exhibit will have children dressing up as pollinating insects, like bees, butterflies, and ladybugs, and move fuzzy "pollen" balls between oversized sunflowers. They can also move magnetic bees and butterflies around Missouri and Kansas native wildflowers featured on the exhibit display and read about the pollination process. In addition to learning about natural science, these activities encourage make-believe play and help develop gross and fine motor skills through play with the "pollen" balls and magnet toys.

Stick around for Bug Club right after, where Green Pest Solutions experts will be teaching kids about the bugs in our environment by conducting an outdoor bug hunt.
