Baptism Celebration

Invite friends and family for a potluck and baptism celebration at Grace Abbott Park. Please BRING a dish to share, along with your own lawn chairs, drinks, serving utensils, and tableware (plates, forks, napkins, etc.). Sign-up with the Destiny Church office by July 7 to get baptized.

WHAT IS WATER BAPTISM?
- Baptism is a public profession of faith in Christ. It is symbolic of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ; it is a declaration to the world that we have died to sin and have been raised with Christ to walk in newness of life - Romans 6:4. The Bible teaches that all who repent and believe in Christ are to be baptized by immersion - Matthew 28:19.

WHEN CAN I GET BAPTIZED?
- Water baptism is available for those who have repented of their sins and have dedicated their life to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Sign-up with the Destiny Church office to be baptized at the next baptism service.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AS A BAPTISM CANDIDATE?
- Dark colored t-shirt
- At least knee-length shorts
- No swimsuits

WHAT SHOULD I BRING AS A BAPTISM CANDIDATE?
- Towel
- Change of clothes
