Pottery Class - 5 Week Hand-Building Class

Clay 101! Come and learn to hand-build clay pots. You'll learn how to wedge clay, form it with an assortment of techniques, glaze your creations, and clean your space.

This class includes instruction, up to 10 pounds of clay, 2 hours of staffed open studio time, glaze, and firing AND qualifies you for a studio membership should you like to continue on your journey. You are able to keep up to eight pieces.

Classes will begin with instruction and a project idea, but you're free to explore whatever shapes and designs you wish if you have your own inspiration.

Wear clothes you're okay getting a little dirty. It's just fancy mud--it washes out. :) Short nails recommended!

This class runs for 6 weeks, but the 5th week is a bye week (no class) to allow pieces to fully dry and be fired.

*Minors ages 10-17 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult unless you have written permission otherwise.
