Pottery Class - Make A Mug!

Just a taste! Come and learn to form a mug using the technique of slab-building. You'll learn about the stages of dryness, cutting shapes, forming clay into a vessel, and cleaning your space. Use some fun texture rollers or letter stamps to add your own flair and choose from our studio colors for a glaze (or paint your own designs).

We'll have two template options for you (or you can freestyle).

This class includes instruction, up to 3 pounds of clay, glaze, and firing. It does not qualify you for a studio membership. You are able to keep one piece from your lesson! We'll glaze it for you and have it ready for pick up in 3-4 weeks.

Wear clothes you're okay getting a little dirty. It's just fancy mud--it washes out. :) Short nails are recommended!



*Minors ages 10-17 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult unless you have written permission otherwise.
