Music on Memorial is an annual summer concert series. The concerts will take place at Peay Park which is located at 200 Memorial Drive. It showcases local artists in an exciting lineup throughout the summer and is free for all ages. Participants are welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating. Additionally, various local non-profit organizations and businesses sponsor a kids zone at each event, which is full of games for kids and families, and food vendors are at each concert!
Mark Anthony is an Independent Recording Artist, a BMI Singer/Songwriter and the Bandleader for the Mark Anthony Ensemble. The Band is an excellent 4-piece Americana group from Franklin, Tennessee performing a variety of Original Acoustic Ballads, Rocking Contemporary Country plus some great crowd-pleasing Covers. They blend the sounds of Acoustic and Electric Guitars, Bass, Drums, and Percussion and are noted for their unique Folk-Rock sound and dynamic show! The Mark Anthony Ensemble has performed on TV along with many Professional Sound Stages, Venues, Fairs, Festivals, Listening Rooms, and Theatres.
