Join Chaplin Nature Center for our FREE 4-week summer nature program designed for curious kids entering grades K-2.
Each Wednesday morning, our CNC Director/Naturalist will lead an exciting adventure. We'll read a nature themed story, explore the great outdoors, and create a unique craft or activity. It's the perfect way for your young explorer to connect with nature!
📅 SCHEDULE & THEMES 📅
The program runs from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM every Wednesday from July 9th-30th. You can reserve a spot for one of the weeks or all four! You pick which weeks work for your child.
Week 1 (July 9): Insect Investigators 🐝
Go on a bug hunt and learn all about the amazing world of insects!
Week 2 (July 16): Feathered Friends 🐦
Discover the beautiful birds that call the nature center home.
Week 3 (July 23): Super Seeds 🌱
Uncover the magic of how tiny seeds grow into incredible plants.
Week 4 (July 30): The Wonders of Water 💧
Explore the importance of water and the creatures that depend on it.

What to Bring: Please send your child with sunscreen, bug spray, and a water bottle.
Parents: This is not a drop-off event. Parents are welcome to join the activities or relax in our visitor center.
Limited Space: We can accommodate a maximum of 15 children per week.
