UUG Sunday Service: 5th Sunday Covenant "Centering Love Through Joy"

Join us next Sunday, June 29th at 10:30 AM, as UUG joins four other UU congregations for another edition of Fifth Sunday Fellowship. This is an experimental worship collaborative made up of five congregations (one in Southern Maryland, one in Michigan, two new joiners - one from the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania and another from Newark, Delaware, and our own UUG). Out of our collaboration, we formed a covenant to bring our best to creating collaborative worship to the four Fifth Sundays of 2025. “Centering Love Through Joy” is the title of our service. Take a moment and think about the word JOY. How would you define it? Can you use other words to describe it? More importantly, when was the last time you felt it? Joy is not a guilty pleasure that should be pushed into the corner when times are hard – it should bubble up through the muck and the mire and be celebrated for its beauty and release! Bring your optimism for joy on Sunday morning and remember how to center love through joy on the daily.
