Το Σάββατο 30 Αυγούστου, το Αμφιθέατρο Βάβλας μεταμορφώνεται σε μια ανοιχτή σκηνή τέχνης. Το Σωματείο Ανάπτυξης Βάβλας σας προσκαλεί σε μια βραδιά όπου το σινεμά, το θέατρο και η μουσική συναντιούνται κάτω από τον νυχτερινό ουρανό.
➡️ 20:30 - The Foreigner (μικρού μήκους)
Η βραδιά ανοίγει με την ταινία μικρού μήκους “The Foreigner” της Alethea Avramis, μια ευαίσθητη κωμωδία που μας μιλά για τη ζωή σε μια μικρή κοινότητα και τον τρόπο που βλέπουμε τον «ξένο» γύρω μας.
➡️ 21:00 - Οι Ματζιελλεμένες (θεατρική παράσταση)
Ακολουθεί η θεατρική παράσταση “Οι Ματζιελλεμένες,” με κείμενο του Γιώργου Παπακωνσταντίνου, μια πρωτοβουλία της άτυπης ομάδας νέων ΜΠΟΕΜ. Δύο νεαρές γυναίκες συναντιούνται σε ένα καφενείο και μέσα από τον διάλογο τους ζωντανεύουν τρεις εμβληματικές γυναικείες μορφές από την κυπριακή λαϊκή παράδοση: την Ανδρονίκη, τη Ρήγαινα και τη Λυγερή. Οι ηρωίδες επιστρέφουν για να ακουστεί η δική τους ιστορία και φωνή. Επί σκηνής θα είναι οι Αντρούλα Μαύρου και η Ιωάννα Αθανασιάδου.
➡️ 22:00 - Μουσικές της Μεσογείου: μέσα που τα μάθκια μας ΑΝεράιδες ft Κωνσταντίνα Φελλά (συναυλία)
Η βραδιά κλείνει με τις ΑΝεράιδες, ένα αμιγώς γυναικείο μουσικό σχήμα από την Κύπρο, που μας ταξιδεύει με μελωδίες της Μεσογείου από Σμυρναίικα, προπολεμικό ρεμπέτικο, νησιώτικα και κυπριακά μέχρι τραγούδια από κάτω Ιταλία.

On Saturday, 30 August, the Vavla Amphitheatre transforms into an open stage for art and tradition. We invite you to an evening where cinema, theatre and music meet under the night sky.
➡️ 20:30 - The Foreigner (short film)
The evening begins with the short film The Foreigner by Alethea Avramis. Α tender comedy that reflects on life in a small community and the way we perceive the “foreigner” among us.
➡️ 21:00 - Oi Matziellemenes (theatre performance) – 21:00
Next follows the play Oi Matziellemenes by Giorgos Papakonstantinou, an initiative of the informal youth group MPOEM. Two young women meet in a café and, through their conversation, bring to life three emblematic female figures from Cypriot folk tradition: Androniki, Rigena, and Lygeri. These heroines return so that their stories and voices may be heard.

➡️ 22:00 - Mediterranean Music: through our own eyes – ANeraides ft. Konstantina Fella (concert)
The evening closes with ANeraides, an all-female music ensemble from Cyprus, taking us on a journey through Mediterranean melodies from Smyrna, rebetika, island tunes, and Cypriot songs, to music from Southern Italy.
