Vintage Base Ball - Georgetown Gentlemen vs. Dayton Clodbusters

Join us at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 22nd for an unforgettable afternoon of vintage base ball, played on the historic grounds of Ward Hall in Georgetown, Kentucky.

This isn’t just a ballgame—it’s living history. Watch as the Georgetown Gentlemen take on the Dayton Clodbusters in a spirited match played by the rules and customs of the 1860s. You’ll see bare-handed fielding, gentlemanly conduct, and play by the rules of the 1860s. No gloves, no walk-up music—just the crack of the bat, cheers from the cranks, and the thrill of America’s game as it was first played.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for a unique experience the whole family will enjoy. Admission is free, and all are welcome. There will be plenty of opportunities to learn about the origins of our national pastime.

The setting couldn’t be more perfect—Ward Hall, one of Kentucky’s finest antebellum mansions, provides a majestic backdrop to this 19th-century showdown.
