La Tramontane brings the music of the Mediterranean and Latin America to Glass House Winery & Brewery with vocal-driven acoustic guitar and cello renditions of French, Spanish, and Portuguese songs by artists such as Edith Piaf, Lola Beltran, Melody Gardot, Cesária Evora, and others. They play a mix of French jazz and sea shanties, Mexican and Spanish folk, and other popular tunes.
Bandleader Rachel Austin has performed throughout the US, Europe, and Mexico and has performed with Kronos Quartet, the Irish National Symphony Orchestra, Nikki Scott (bassist for Van Morrison), and Dony Wynn (drummer for both Robert Palmer and Robert Plant). She has opened for such acts as Florence + the Machine, Fatoumata Diawara, and Rodrigo y Gabriela.
She is joined by local cellist legend Catherine Monnes of Night Teacher and Sally Rose fame, forming the band LA TRAMONTANE.
Both Rachel and Cath have enjoyed traveling this past year. Rachel took in a lot of Flamenco in Spain, and Cath immersed herself in the Miami dance scene. Their experiences will clearly be infused into their performance. La Tramontane hopes that their music inspires you to get up and let your spirit loose!

Our live music events typically take place within the beautiful space of the glass conservatory, our indoor tropical oasis. On occasion, the music may perform outdoors, under the eaves of the back deck. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available first come, no reservations.
Picnics are welcome throughout the property, barring any outside alcohol. We have plentiful seating areas indoors and outdoors, across all areas of the winery/brewery property. Feel free to bring your blankets/chairs. Pop up tents and personal grills are permitted for use in the overflow grassy tailgate and picnic areas.
Glass House Winery wines (by glass or bottle) and Glass House Brewery beers (by pint glass) will be available at both the Tasting Room Bar and the Glass Theater Brewpub (during their respective operating hours detailed below).
Our wine slushies are back for the warm weather season! Wine Slushies, Traditional Wine Tastings, and optional Wine Flights will only be offered at the Tasting Room Bar.
Children are welcome, please supervise them at all times. Consider bringing along games or other items to entertain them while seated.
Well behaved dogs are also welcome but must remain on their leash at all times.

Wednesdays/Thursdays/Sundays - 12 noon until 5:30pm
Fridays - 12 noon until 9pm
Saturdays - 12 noon until 8pm.

The Glass Theater Brewpub:
Fridays - 5pm until 9pm
Saturdays - 12 noon until 5:30pm
