Book Signing Event with Jen Congdon

Join us for a joyful celebration of curiosity, creativity, and the great outdoors!

We’re thrilled to welcome Jen Congdon, author of the beautifully illustrated picture book Good Day for a Hike, for two special events this August!

This engaging story introduces little explorers to the sights, sounds, and surprises of the natural world—perfect for ages 3–8. With a fun hands-on activity, a special story time, and the chance to meet the author, it’s a perfect summer morning outing for young adventurers and their grown-ups!

Kids will decorate their own adventure bag using our custom coloring sheet and sticker set—ready to bring along on future hikes!

PLUS: Receive a FREE Virginia State Park pass just for attending, to inspire more outdoor time with your littles.

$5 to attend and $5 will be added to your store credit to be used toward the purchase of the book.
(This charge is simply to track attendance)

Books will be available for purchase and signing.
