How Music & Color Affect You

This class will be led by artist and musician, Cheryl Kaldahl.

Ages 8-15 will be on Wednesday, June 18 from 10-11am.
Ages 15 and older will be Wednesday, June 25 from 5-6:30pm.

Located: 2nd level Art Room 204

Did you know that the music you listen to can influence your artistic expression? In this workshop, you will explore different musical genres while painting along with the music. Afterward, we'll discuss the meanings and healing properties of color, the selected msuic, the subject matter of the paintings, and the insights they reveal about yourself.

Participants will learn:
Music and color in our everday surroundings
How color and music influence mood and perception
Healing properties of color and music
How to create a specific mood or environment using color and music
