Great Race Evening Stop - Frankfort, KY

Join the fun as the GREAT RACE stops on Broadway Street in downtown Frankfort, Kentucky as part of a nine-day rally from St. Paul, MN to Irmo, SC. This is a FREE event, with a family-friendly atmosphere, so bring the kids and welcome more than 140 classic cars and trucks (1974 and earlier) as they roll into town.

The arrival ceremony starts at 4pm. The cars will arrive every few minutes from 4 pm to 7 pm. Come see the cars and visit with the drivers from 4 pm to 7 pm.

You’ll have easy access to the cars, drivers and navigators. In some cases, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see cars that are more than 100 years old, competing in this long-distance rally. There are also high-end sports cars, muscle cars, classics and hot rods. The Great Race only be in town for a short time, so don’t miss your chance to check out the old cars!

Restaurants, shops and bars in downtown Frankfort will be open. At 7:30pm the Grand Theatre will show the movie The Great Race, filmed here in Frankfort, Kentucky! Don't miss the fun - join us on June 25!
