About the event

Cardboard Collection Day
The City of Frankfort, with support from the Franklin County Solid Waste Task Force, is hosting a Cardboard Collection Day on June 7th from 8-2 at 309 Rouse Ave.

If you have cardboard saved for disposal, Rouse Ave is providing this drop off opportunity while they wait for more recycling equipment to arrive.

Please have your boxes flattened, and please be prepared to unload your cardboard independently. We will have volunteers working the event, but residents need to be able to open their trunk and assist with carrying cardboard, etc.

This cardboard dumpster will be serviced by Republic Services and taken to the Lexington Recycling Facility to be processed.

Please be prepared to sign a waiver and show your ID, thank you!
