Ceramic & Resin Class

This is an introductory class to UV curable resin and ways to incorporate it into your ceramics. You will learn how to mix, pour, and cure UV resin as well as safety precautions. We will also add elements into the resin. Students will also create ceramic pieces to hold and frame the resin pour.


Bring: dried flowers, leaves, glitter, bugs or anything else you would like to embed in resin, plus a respirator mask and eye protection for your safety.


Class 1- You will see examples and create a mug on the wheel that will hold resin.
Class 2- Create pendants and/or dishes to hold resin. Bring in items to place in resin.
Class 3- Glaze your mug, pendants, and dishes. Draw out ideas for the following week.
Class 4- Adding resin to your pieces!
