Fort Wayne Radio Club Meeting

The Fort Wayne Radio Club June 2025 meeting this coming Friday will be devoted to topics of interest for the upcoming ARRL Field Day operation on June 28th and 29th. Here is a brief rundown:

1.) KC9MUT and N8KR will outline their plans for the Field Day operation to take place at Jefferson Township Park in New Haven.

2.) W9SAN will give a brief review of efforts to reduce or eliminate inter-station interference

3.) The club will test out the lines of coax transmission line to insure that they are in working order

4.) The club will also build several coax lines and members will be given how to build instructions. Soldering and Coax Crimping techniques will be shown

5.) If possible, there will be a discussion on bringing back the once popular "QRP NIGHT" which is a "Run-what-you-bring" event for hams to get on the air with whatever they have! (doesn't have to QRP necessarily)

Anyone that wants to help out with operating, logging, set up, take down, food, safety, etc; should contact the FWRC BOD and let us know!

Set up starts at 9:00 am on Sat June 28. Take down starts on or before 2:00 pm Sun June 29 (sooner if weather is threatening).
