NASA Robotics 1-Day STEM Challenge
Get ready for an action-packed day of hands-on learning and innovation!
In this exciting one-day STEM program, students in grades 6–12 will explore the cutting-edge world of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and robotics—using real NASA-inspired technology.
Participants will:
• Dive into the basics of machine learning and neural networks
• Learn how to code robots to move, sense, and make decisions
• Work with a NANO JETBOT to complete a robotics challenge
• Apply creative problem-solving and teamwork to navigate an obstacle course mission, inspired by Artemis exploration goals
This immersive program—developed at Georgia Tech and provided by the NASA - Alabama Space Grant Consortium—is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence with technology, and introduce students to future-ready STEM careers.
Be sure to pack a lunch for this all day adventure.
Who: Students entering grades 6–12. No experience required—just curiosity and creativity!
