Parks and Rec is excited to announce it is hosting a COMPLIMENTARY Introduction to Wire Wrapping Jewelry Class using Sea glass!
Wire Wrapping Jewelry Class using Sea Glass:
Join Elizabeth from EJM Designs as she teaches how to create sea glass pendants and how to embellish these with beads and wire swirls. Each person will make and take two sea glass cord necklaces and a keychain. You’ll learn basic wire wrapping techniques for stones, glass or beads, and how to add decorative beads and swirls to your design. You can choose from a choice of sea glass, beach pottery, and tumbled glass. You are also welcome to bring your own beach finds to wrap. You’ll also learn about sea glass and its history, how to identify genuine versus manmade, and learn the origin and rarity of the colors.

Instructor: Elizabeth Mason
Elizabeth has been creating and selling sea glass and coastal-inspired jewelry for more than 20 years and teaching jewelry making classes for nearly 10 years.
Originally from England, Elizabeth has lived and worked in several countries and now lives in Tampa Bay, Florida. She has a passion for exploring beaches and collecting sea glass, and it is this love of all things coastal that inspired her jewelry making journey. She creates jewelry, ornaments and gifts that feature sea glass, shells, and photographs of beach scenes. Her work is represented in several stores and galleries in the U.S. and is available online.
