Juggling for Stress Relief “Play-shop”

We sit at our computers all day, text on our phones and then wonder why our bodies feel so bad. It’s time to engage in fun physicality to restore flexibility in body and mind, and juggling is one of the best ways to do that. Participants will learn the basics of juggling with up to three objects (scarves, bean bags). Juggling is a skill you can take anywhere and use anytime you need a break from the daily grind.

Affectionately known as The PhDiva because she is a classically trained soprano with a PhD from Harvard, Dr. April Lynn James taught herself to juggle. This skill came in handy during her doctoral years, and helped her heal from stress-induced weight gain, depression and tendinitis. She shares her varied artistic skills in order to help individuals recover their innate joy and vitality.
