Bug Buddies with Webster County Conversation

Join us for an exciting workshop all about our amazing insect friends! Discover the fascinating world of beneficial bugs and learn how they help your garden thrive. This engaging event is perfect for curious minds of all ages.

Erin Ford will introduce you to common garden insects like ladybugs, praying mantises, and earthworms, explaining their vital roles in a healthy ecosystem. You'll learn to tell the difference between "good" bugs and "bad" bugs, becoming a true bug detective!

Then, head over to our "bug hotel" building station. Get creative using natural materials such as hollow sticks, pinecones, and bamboo to construct a cozy home for your new bug buddies.

Finally, put your newfound knowledge to the test with a fun Bug Hunt Bingo. See how many different insects you can identify!
