JAZZY POETIC: The Juneteenth Experience with Bhakti Larry Hough and the Bhakti Project
Modern-day griot Bhakti Larry Hough and the Bhakti Project will perform JAZZY POETIC: The Juneteenth Experience, a tracing of the history and evolution of Juneteenth through a fusion of jazz, freedom and protest songs, poetry, and African drumming.

The performance is part of the FMU African American Faculty and Staff Coalition's and the Universities Studying Slavery's celebration of Juneteenth. It is free and open to the public.
