Florence Pickleball Club – Summer Team League Registration Now Open
We’re excited to launch the first official team league hosted by the Florence Pickleball Club. This league is fully organized and run by the FPC Activities Committee — and it’s built with structure, fairness, and community impact at the core.
Unlike previous privately-run leagues, this one is 100% club-led. That means:
• Balls are provided each night
• A committee member will be present every league night to oversee matches and answer questions
• All registration fees go directly back into FPC — supporting court improvements, events, and equipment for the entire Florence pickleball community
League Details:
• Dates: July 8 – August 14
• Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:00–7:00 PM
• Location: Timrod Park
• Cost: $15 per player
• Pay online during registration or bring exact cash on your first match night
• Registration deadline: July 6
Team Format:
• Teams must have 3–5 players (minimum one woman per team)
• Each player may join up to 2 teams (one in a lower division and one in a higher)
• Weekly matches include: Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Open Doubles (if needed)
• Match format: Best 2 of 3 games to 11, win by 2
Divisions (based on DUPR average of top 3 players):
• Division 1: Below 3.0 (Tuesdays)
• Division 2: 3.0 – 3.5 (Thursdays)
• Division 3: 3.5 – 4.0 (Thursdays)
• Division 4: 4.0 and above (Tuesdays)
Playoffs & Prizes:
• Top 4 teams per division advance to playoffs
• Medals awarded to the top 3 teams in each division
• Gift cards awarded to winning team captains
