Asteroid Day Event, Flagstaff,AZ

The astronomy club in Flagstaff puts on a great event, with members bringing their own telescopes so the general public can see what the heavenly bodies really look like. It’s really awesome and very interesting.

From the website: This one-day event features expert talks, behind-the-scenes tours, hands-on science demos, food trucks, and telescope viewing under the stars. Don’t miss this stellar day of space, science, and impact!

So if anyone is interested, we can arrange car pools, meeting places, and hourly meeting times. I’ll be going up there on Sunday and I’ll be adding any specific instructions that are necessary.
