DECEMBER 3RD - OH NOVEMBER
Oh November is Emily Russell, a singer/songwriter telling the stories of a soul in search. For as long as she can remember, Emily has found solace sorting out her internal world through deeply personal folk songs. Primarily rooted in acoustic guitar, Emily leans heavily on sultry vocals with a love for melodic improvisation. After many years of separation from a home piano, Emily has resumed her love for writing piano ballads. A working mother of two, Emily has organized multiple sold out local shows, and has recently been spreading her wings to the great beyond. Emily released a full-length album titled Stardust in 2025, which captures a desire to be free, to be true, to be loved and connected.
DECEMBER 10TH - ONANYA MEIJER
New to Fernie this season Onanya Meijer is a Folk singer-songwriter from Western Australia, Onanya’s original works come straight from the heart. Inspired by beautiful folk music, Onanya blends warm vocals, with honest story-telling, taking elements from the genres of pop/rock to create a modern twist on both her own work and covers. Having played at multiple venues across the state Onanya looks forward to her first shows in Canada, expanding her musical journey beyond Australia
DECEMBER 17TH - TIM KETCHUM
Tim Ketchum, a long term Fernie local is no stranger to the Elk Valley music scene. Fronting local band The Relief Committee as well as performing solo, Tim has played many venues across Fernie. You can expect beautifully delivered folk and classic rock songs and just a few jokes and witty banter in between for good measure.
