Alissa Aranason with special guest Dan Gordon

In the stark landscape of the Saskatchewan prairies, Alissa Arnason spent countless hours dreaming, writing, drawing, and singing within the simple confines of suburban Saskatoon. Music was the language of her family: some of her earliest memories are of her father performing on stages across the province; she recalls endless evenings singing with her family around kitchen tables and campfires. At fourteen, Arnason picked up her brother’s guitar and found an immediate portal to a lifetime of self-taught musicianship.

Arnason recently released singles Broke My Heart In Two and Can’t Go On Pretending off her forthcoming album Waltzes, to be released in early 2026

Dan Gordon spent 6 years as a touring session musician, Dan has travelled all over the UK and Europe and eventually ending up in Fernie. Since arriving in town, Dan has emerged himself the local music scene, playing both solo shows with an Americana feel, and also playing guitar and mandolin with other musicians around town.
