Rooted in ancient wisdom, this ceremony fosters inner peace, clarity, and long-term spiritual transformation. This Sacred ceremony, guided and held by Grandfather Hapé, Sananga, and Mama Cacao, creates a sacred space for deep inner healing and realignment.
Each medicine offers its own wisdom—Hapé grounds and clears the mind, Sananga sharpens vision and insight, and Cacao opens the heart to self-love and emotional release. Together, they support the release of old patterns, promote inner peace, and restore harmony between mind, body, and spirit.
Grandfather Rapé (Hapé) is a sacred shamanic snuff made from finely ground Amazonian plants, traditionally prepared and used by Indigenous tribes such as the Huni Kuin.
The term “Grandfather” is used to honor the ancient wisdom and masculine, grounding energy many associate with this powerful plant spirit.
🌿 What is Grandfather Rapé (Hapé)?
Rapé (pronounced ha-PAY) is a blend of pulverized sacred Amazonian tobacco (Nicotiana rustica, known as Mapacho) and various healing herbs, ashes, and medicinal plants. Each tribe has its own recipes, passed down through generations, and each blend carries its own unique spiritual signature.
🔹 Spiritual and Healing Benefits:
Energetic cleansing: Clears stagnant energy, emotional blockages, and psychic clutter
Grounding: Brings you fully into your body and the present moment.
Pineal gland activation: Assists in deep meditation and inner vision
Connection to spirit guides and ancestral wisdom
Physical detoxification: Helps cleanse the sinuses, lungs, and gut energetically
🔹 How it’s used:
Administered nasally, through a special pipe a tepichu (for practitioner-to-recipient application)
The user sits, sets an intention, and receives the Rapé through the nostrils.
A brief experience often bringing tears, emotional release.
Sacred Sananga refers to a traditional Amazonian eye medicine made from the roots or bark of the Tabernaemontana undulata plant, used by various Indigenous tribes, especially in Brazil and Peru. It is considered sacred due to its spiritual, energetic, and physical healing properties, and is often administered during shamanic ceremonies.
🔹 What Sananga Is Used For:
Spiritual clarity & energetic cleansing
Decalcification of the pineal gland (sometimes associated with spiritual awakening or "opening the third eye")
Balancing the chakras and auric field
Clearing panema — a term used by tribes to describe dense or negative energy
Sharpening vision (both physical and intuitive)
🔹 How It’s Administered
Sananga is applied as eye drops, one drop per eye, typically while lying down.
A strong burning or stinging sensation lasts for a few minutes and is part of the cleansing process.
Recipients are encouraged to breathe deeply and set a clear intention during application.
🔹 The Experience:
After the initial sting, many people report a sense of:
Deep emotional release
Greater visual and spiritual clarity
Calmer mind and heart
Enhanced intuition.
🔹 Cultural Roots & Respect:
Sananga is sacred to tribes like the Yawanawá and Kaxinaw.
