Family Fishing Workshop

Want to have your kids start the new school year with learning a life skill? This workshop is a hands-on learning experience designed to teach families with children the basic beginner skills needed to go fishing and includes fishing on the Marion Fish Hatchery stocked pond.

Families will learn:

o How to set up and cast a fishing rod

o How to tie a basic fishing knot

o Catch and Release fishing methods

o How to properly catch & handle a fish

o Learn basic fishing skills. Equipment and materials provided. Bring water and snacks.
