Ultimate Showmanship Show

Welcome to the Southeast Iowa Youth Livestock Supporters Face Book page. Our organization is made up of a group of volunteers whose primary goal is to support our youth who have a passion for showing livestock. Our group will be putting on the Ultimate Showmanship Show which will be held at the Jefferson County Fair on June 29, 2025. All youth that exhibit a 4-H/FFA project at the 2025 Jefferson County Fair are eligible to enter this show. This competition is more than just an opportunity for youth exhibitors to showcase their animals; it highlights their dedication, skills, and hard work in the art of livestock showmanship.
Showmanship is a vital aspect of youth livestock programs, teaching participants responsibility, perseverance, and sportsmanship. These young competitors spend countless hours preparing their animals, refining their handling skills, and demonstrating their knowledge – all of which contribute to their growth as future agricultural leaders.
