Sanctuary Yoga and Wellness is hosting an open house on Saturday, September 13 from noon to 4:00 p.m. in celebration of the studio’s six-month anniversary.
Sanctuary Yoga & Wellness offers transformative yoga, meditation and therapeutic practices steeped in tradition and complemented by the holistic wisdom of Ayurveda. For those who have yet to discover Sanctuary’s intimate studio tucked along the backside of Water Street in Exeter, the upcoming open house offers an opportunity to explore the studio space, meet owner Sharon Gordon, and experience samples of the studio’s yoga, guided meditation and breath work offerings.
Designed to offer a welcoming, no pressure way to learn more about the studio and its approach to yoga and wellness, the open house will include a series of mini, 20-minute yoga and breathwork sessions on the hour, every hour. Event attendees can take a short dosha quiz in the Ayurveda Corner, and participate in casual tea tastings (and take home a tea sample).
In addition, optional blood pressure and pulse oximeter readings before and after sessions will be available for participants to measure the calming effects in real time. All attendees will be entered to win a one free month of yoga or a free spot in a small group yoga therapy program.
The Sanctuary Yoga & Wellness studio overlooks the Squamscott River and the entrance is located at 109R2 Water Street in Exeter, NH.
Sanctuary Yoga & Wellness offers regular daily yoga classes and is offering two special multi-session workshops later this fall: "Root + Rise: A 4-Week Journey Into Nervous System Healing,” Tuesday evenings October 7-28, 6:00-7:30 p.m.; and “Strong + Steady: A 5-Week Yoga Series to Improve Balance, Build Strength, and Move with Confidence,” Tuesday evenings November 4-December 2, 6:00-7:00 p.m. Complete details can be found at www.sanctuaryexeter.com.
