Shaping the Future of Our Estuary Together!
South East Devon Wildlife is proud to be a partner of the Exe Estuary Management Partnership (EEMP) – a collaborative initiative that brings together local authorities, environmental organisations, and community representatives to protect and enhance the Exe Estuary.
This year's Autumn Forum is being held here in Exmouth at Ocean, later this month and features two interactive workshops:
🔹 Local Nature Recovery Strategies (LNRS) – LNRS are a new, statutory tool introduced under the Environment Act 2021. They aim to map out local priorities for nature recovery and identify the best places to take action, such as restoring habitats, creating wildlife corridors, or improving land management. The Partnership would really value your input as it explores how these strategies can shape estuarine and coastal priorities in our region.
🔹 Codes of Conduct – A chance to reflect on all existing codes and how they are working in practice. This is especially timely as the Partnership is currently developing a new code with South East Devon Wildlife, focused on personal aircraft use on the Exe Estuary.
