Build a Wind-Up Boat! Gears, Springs, and More! Session 1

Join Ben from the Tech Center and build a gear powered boat to take home!

In this introductory class you will learn about gears, how they are used in real life, and how gear ratios allow us to do amazing things with less effort. After a short lesson, you will be given the opportunity to build a 3D printed boat and test it!

Ages 8-14

3D printed boat kits are limited. Please register each child you want to receive a kit, adults do not need to be registered.

Children ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Some adult supervision may be required during assembly.
