Reb & the Good News:
Known for their genre-blending sound and positive message, Portland, OR based Reb & the Good News create dance music that amplifies hope. Their upcoming album, Silver Lining (out July 2025), is a dynamic fusion of funky grooves, soulful horns, world rhythms, jazz sensibilities, and pop melodies with lyrics that speak to the heart. Led by vocalist and guitarist Reb Conner, her band was created during the pandemic as an answer to a world engulfed in bad news. At the core of Reb’s music is the belief that feeling our grief and pain has the power to break us open into greater depths of joy. This new album, written between 2020-2023, is a collection of songs that emphasize the silver lining. Join Reb & the Good News to celebrate their long awaited Album release July 20th at Mississippi Studios.
BendreTheGiant:
From Portland, Oregon, BendreTheGiant is the Neo-Soul Power Pop group led by Ben Estrada. Estrada has been releasing music since 2020, but his 2024 releases mark the first time he has brought in outside collaborators: BendreTheGiant is now a six-piece band that includes keyboardist Delos Erickson, guitarist Avery Scanlon, bassist Eli Hansen, drummer Nate Hansen, and saxophonist Ben Harris.
In 2024 BendreTheGiant released an EP, "Get Well Soon," and pair of singles, "Nobody Knows" and "Make It Stop." Their forthcoming EP, "Wading In The Deep End," will be released on Friday, March 7, and coincides with a tour of Oregon, California, and Washington. BendreTheGiant has been featured on OPB, the Dan Cable Podcast, and Eugene Weekly, and was a 2024 winner of MusicOregon's Echo Fund artist grant.
