As all or most of my rides start off with a coffee stop, and we'll ride to Double Peak, and have Mexican food... more details to follow. Meet up stop may change depending on route for the day's ride. Photo is the current meet up location for accuracy (nothing exciting!). Gift/Treat to all first time riders with my group and for the rider that's traveled the farthest to join the ride.
Bring water, binoculars, sunscreen, and a smile because they are a good contagious thing to share... I do that as often as possible!
This is an all 2 & 3 wheel bike riders welcome. This will not be a half day ride, unless you want to follow me back to Fallbrook for tasty frozen yogurt, and a scenic ride to Fallbrook and in Fallbrook, and you are welcome to do that, too... (depending on how far you're coming from to start the ride), that is.
You're welcome to join or leave at any part of the ride. You can just join us for tasty coffee at the Blue Mug in Escondido or Mexican food and ride to Yogurt Palace in Fallbrook, or just ride and/or meet up at Double Peak in San Marcos.
You can choose your adventure/day as it fits your plans. I just enjoy riding with anyone that can and wants to go.
After we spend a good hour at Double Peak (there are bathrooms up there too), we'll head to lunch at Cocina del Charro in San Marcos (there are two locations for those meeting us for lunch. We're going to the larger of their two locations since they'll likely have bruch available also).
If anyone wants to head back north with me, I'll make the ride heading back towards Fallbrook interesting/scenic also (I plan to do that regardless... why wouldn't make it fun for myself anyway!), but if you need to head back for other family gatherings... please feel free to break from the group when you need to go. I'll be happy to have you for any or all of the ride, that you can.
***Disclaimer*** Please don't join if you don't plan to have fun. I want everyone to have a good time. I'll do all I can to put you in a good mood if Father's Day is a sad time for you as it can be for me on any given day. I just choose to trust that God will join me with my Dad someday.
***Please read this part because I dislike disappointing folks, but I have learned that I can't make everyone happy regardless....
***Please also know that I try to abide by the speed limits, but not faster than what the group overall is comfortable with... since I like to see and take in my rides... this is not a whirlwind ride for "the fast and furious." So, if you tend to be a "lead-foot rider" this ride may not be to your liking. Please "honk", wave arms, or get our attention if you need our attention during the ride!!! I will do what's needed to make us as safe and not lose anyone as much as possible.

2. But 1st (or 2nd) coffee:
9:50-10:30 am Blue Mug, Escondido
3. Double Peak Park:
11 am-12 pm
4. Lunch Cocina Del Charro:
12:30 pm San Marcos location
5. Opt. home or frozen yogurt:
Yogurt Palace, Fallbrook after 1:45 pm.
