We have our annual AGM coming up on the 23rd of January 2026 at Ely Methodist Church at 7pm to 9pm. We would love to see you there to hear all the exciting news coming up for 2026. It’s a great chance to meet the committee and an opportunity for you to get involved and ask any questions you may have. Some of our committee members are retiring in 2026 and we are also looking for volunteers to join our friendly and rewarding committee.
We encourage members to consider standing for committee positions, especially as two of our current members will be stepping down. If you have an interest in contributing, we would love you to join us. We are looking to fill the roles of Treasurer, Secretary and Chair and would love to hear from you if you have any questions or would like more information about these roles.
Committee meetings are informal and friendly. They are held roughly once a month and usually by Zoom. The roles of the current committee are posted online.
Please do consider serving on the committee, or proposing another member to serve. You will find a nomination form on the about page on our website. Completed forms must be received by the 9th of January 2026.
For the first part of the evening we will have lots fun with speed sketching, setting up 3 still life tables to rotate between. Bring along your sketching materials and there will be lots of enjoyable sketching guaranteed. We are also aiming to have ‘Member’s Choice’ where we would love each member to bring in a painting or sculpture and we will do a secret vote on our favourite top 3.
